This project features an 18x36 bluestone stamp with a heavy stone texture border and steps with integrated LED lights. The old wooden deck was removed as well as a few bushes and the hot tub was lifted and moved to make space for the new patio. The pool light controls were relocated and rewired and conduit was trenched and installed to connect the step lights to a low voltage transformer behind the pool house. Electrical conduit was installed underneath the slab through the border area and along the back of the house to allow for future landscape lighting. Drainage was ran from the downspouts under the slab into the river rock garden. A section of the pad was poured at 8" thick to accommodate the hot tub that will be reinstalled after the concrete has fully cured. Hand rails will also be installed on the steps after the concrete has had a chance to fully cure.
